Hi, I’m Rebecca

When I became a mom, I found parenting really hard, and as much as I wanted to enjoy it, I felt disconnected from myself. I knew there had to be another way. I found The Adult Chair® and as I internalized the ideas of listening to my intuition and feeling my emotions, the voices in my head quieted so I could tune into my inner voice.

Now, as a Certified Adult Chair® Coach, I help people find their inner voice and live from their true, authentic selves. Using personalized and empowering coaching tools, I will guide you to trust yourself and listen to your intuition so that you can show up as your best self and truly enjoy your life as a mom.

Finding Joy Coaching Package

Yes, you read that right. By finding joy and becoming your best self, you will become the parent, partner, and person you want to be. During eight one-hour private coaching sessions, held over four months, we will create a roadmap for change and do deep inner work so that you can find more joy in your life.

Finding Joy: The Journey

I will intuitively guide you to create a roadmap for change so that you can find more joy in your life. We will work through these six steps to discover your true self and make lasting changes. We will meet every other week for eight one-hour private coaching sessions held over four months. Between our sessions, I will assign homework and check in weekly to see how you are progressing. I am your guide and partner on this journey to finding joy in your life.

STEP 1

What is Holding You Back

We start the finding joy coaching journey by discovering what is preventing you from truly enjoying this time in your life. We begin here because if you learn what is holding you back, you can start to transform those areas and make real changes. We dig deep into each of the emotions that come up for you, be it resentment, anger, frustration, overwhelm, or feeling out of control, and address those patterns. In this step we begin to rewire your brain to help you change your mindset, so you start to feel good about your life. During this step, you will begin to leave the past behind, and get ready to find joy. 


STEP 2

Define Joy

What does joy look like for you? Where do you feel it in your body? How will you know that you are living life from a place of joy? We explore what joy means to you. You must have an idea of what you are seeking so that we can work together to get there. Joy is both an emotion and a state of mind. It can be both fleeting and a place to come home to. Joy is when your preschooler comes running to hug you after school, and when your teenager sends you a funny meme. Joy is when you lay down after a long day and sink into your soft bed - full, exhausted, and content. We look at joy at this stage so that you can define what your joy will look like and make a plan to get there. 


STEP 3

Triggers and Mindset

Here we tap into two areas that may be keeping you stuck in old patterns. What beliefs do you have that don’t serve you? In this step, we explore those beliefs as we tame your triggers and use tools to change your mindset. Triggers reveal the unconscious beliefs we have about ourselves. We will face them head-on. Your mindset impacts your behavior, motivation, resilience, and ultimately, your success in life. We do this important step now because you need to change your unconscious beliefs to blossom into the new you.


STEP 4

The New You

We’ll work on how you will use the skills you gained thus far by changing your mindset and doing your inner work to improve your external reality. To carve out time for self-care, you may need to have some direct conversations with your partner or boss. In this step, you will build your confidence in your communication skills and learn how to set boundaries. We will look at how you manage your time and see what is blocking you from making yourself a priority. We do this step now because you are ready, as you are now aware of some of the things you want to do differently to manifest joy in your life on a daily basis. 


STEP 5

Limiting Beliefs

Congratulations on getting this far in your journey. It is now that we will face any remaining limiting beliefs, inner criticism, self-sabotage, codependency, or other limiting beliefs that keep you stuck in old patterns. The beauty is knowing who you are and what you want - and you do! The reality is that change is hard and we will work on rewiring your brain and body so you can become an integrated and whole person. 


STEP 6

Integration

You have done beautiful and powerful inner work, and made changes to your external environment and relationships, and you are ready to take flight from a place of joy. We will take time to reflect on how far you’ve come and set up systems and plans for you to keep going. What tools, practices, self-care, and supports will you continue with? This may come from your homework and turn into systems that empower you. What actions will you take to live your life from a place of joy? We set these up together and I will help you become accountable to reach your goals. We do this step last because you will take this with you into your life. There is no going back from here. You are living out your new roadmap for life.
